Welcome

The Rotary Club of Fisherman's Wharf - San Francisco
Welcomes you to our wonderful web site. We hope you'll enjoy the information on this site. More importantly, we hope to see you at a meeting someday.
The Object of Rotary
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
The Kente Stole Fundraising
The club is raising funds with the sale of the below modeled West African Kente stoles. Each stole has one sewn-on Rotary patch at shoulder height. Currently the web site does not have any online purchasing option. If you would like to order any of the these stoles at $49 a piece and any shipping charges, please contact Erik Scheller at info@rotary-fishermanswharf.org or 415-260-7006 (email is preferred form of communication). We are just now starting out with this fundraiser so various logistics (i.e. shipping, online purchasing, etc.) still need to be resolved. As of now, each order is handled on a case by case condition via email or telephone. We hope to provide more detailed information on the fundraiser, Kente, and Ghana along with a downloadable order form soon.
